KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Supports on enforcing established systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and seamless execution of process engineering functions and activities.
- Carries out New Model Production activities within the assigned area, analyzing requirements and objectives, and developing appropriate process designs and layouts, but not limited to :
- Performs Time and Motion study and Line Balancing Activities.
- Designs process layout and operation sequences of the handled area including equipment specification and parameter, required consumable and resources.
- Conducts Failure Mode and Effect Analysis to make higher assurance level of processes.
- Designs and procures racks, buckets, jigs, machines, special tools and other items needed.
- Schedules and monitors the progress of activities delegated to handled manpower to ensure timely execution and completion while providing inputs and recommendations.
- Leads production and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing capability, productivity, quality and safety.
- Conducts investigations and troubleshooting of existing processes and hardware-related isses to prevent recurrence.
- Uses known analytical tools like SPC, 7QC, 8D, FMEA etc. also implements POKA YOKE solution on all jigs and fixtures to avoid failures and occurences.
- Provides designs through drawings and any specification for jigs and packaging and evaluates fabricated jigs, packaging by the handled area or supplier.
- Facilitates packaging design activities for localized parts, coordinating with relevant sections and collaborating with suppliers for safe and on-scheduled delivery of jigs, racks, tools and other related projects.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or any related Engineering field.
- Licensed Engineer or Certified is an advantage.
- At least 1-3 years of relative experience in a Manufacturing set-up. Open to fresh graduates;
- Automotive painting line exposure and experience supporting facility/process preparation, mass production readiness is desirable.
- Basic understanding of electrodepposition / electroplating principle;
- Familiarity with basic chemistry and material surface treatment;
- Can perform basic CAD Design (AutoCAD, Solidworks) and can use analytical tools such as fishbone diagram, FTA, why-why analysis.
