Job Summary:
As a Motorsports Staff, you will play a vital role in promoting the Yamaha Racing brand by supporting the smooth execution of motorsports initiatives and contribute to strengthening the company’s competitive reputation leading with the goal of ensuring efficient operation and consistent brand representations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Promote the Yamaha Racing brand by organizing small-scale racing events, coordinating sponsorships, and supporting racing teams and riders.
- Monitor, maintain, and manage race bikers, equipment, spare parts, and other assets to ensure readiness and accountability.
- Manage sponsorship agreements by ensuring compliance, fulfilling obligations, and maintaining strong relationships with sponsored racers and teams.
- Prepare report and provide insights on racing events, teams, and sponsorships to support decision-making.
- Oversee project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial targets.
- Contribute individually to own tasks and within a team, following established plans, and making routine decisions under direct supervisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, Sports Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in marketing, events, brand activation, promotions, or related functions.
- Exposure in motorsport events, in competitive racing as a rider, crew, or team manager, and knowledgeable with Yamaha products, and racing programs are a plus.
- Willing to travel and render fieldwork during weekends or holidays.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
