KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates/maintains wide-area/local-area networks (LAN/WAN/VPN, etc.) to prevent operational disruptions and provide stable communications environments.
- Drives network design, construction, and upgrades projects to ensure future scalability and flexibility including cloud environments.
- Implements configuration management, access control, and log monitoring for network devices to reduce security risks.
- Deploys / operates monitoring and automation tools to enhance network visibility and efficiency.
- Minimizes the impact of failures and changes by implementing responses based on change management and incident management processes.
- Responds to escalations from the IT service desk and, as Level 2 support, investigate and resolve network-related technical issues.
- Collaborates with business departments and other IT teams to organize network requirements and propose improvements.
- Plans and implements the necessary measures for zero-trust security to achieve a secure network.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any computer-related course.
- 5-7 years+ experience in IT infrastructure especially network management.
- Experience in operating medium-sized or larger networks is required, and CCNA/CCNP-level knowledge is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of network technologies, equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper and Fortinet.
- Knowledge in information security / cloud environments and understanding of networks and systems.
- Experience in building and operating zero trust networks and in reliably implementing configuration management.
