KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA) programs and activities.
- Responsible for providing technical and mechanical support during safety training sessions and test ride events.
- Ensure motorcycles, tools, and equipment are properly prepared, inspected, and maintained in line with Yamaha’s safety and performance standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, you will help deliver safe, smooth, and engaging training experiences while supporting Yamaha’s brand advocacy initiatives.
Job Description
1. YRA Technical Support & Activity Execution: Prepare and execute YRA safety training and test ride activities. Perform motorcycle setup, inspection, tuning, and minor repairs. Ensure all units are safe and ready for use.
2. Brand & Program Technical Support: Support training sessions that promote Yamaha’s safety advocacy and product reliability. Ensure equipment complies with Yamaha’s technical and branding standards.
3. Cross-Functional Technical Coordination: Coordinate with YRA facilitators, technical teams, marketing, sales, aftersales, and external venues. Ensure all technical requirements are met for smooth execution of activities.
4. Technical Data Collection & Reporting: Gather basic observations on motorcycle performance and issues. Prepare post-activity summaries and report findings to supervisors.
5. Supplier & Equipment Partner Assistance: Assist with coordination of external venues, suppliers, and maintenance partners. Ensure availability and readiness of tools, gear, and technical materials.
6. Budget & Parts Monitoring Support: Track parts usage and consumables during activities. Report expenses and usage for budget monitoring.
7. Brand & Safety Standards Maintenance: Maintain Yamaha’s branding, cleanliness, and presentation standards. Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
8. Tools, Equipment & Training Material Support: Maintain and organize tools, equipment, spare parts, and documentation. Ensure readiness before and after training sessions.
9. Compliance & Safety: Follow company policies, safety procedures, and Yamaha technical standards. Report and escalate any safety or mechanical concerns promptly.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of Four Year course of Automotive or Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- At least 1 year work experience as technician or mechanic handling small to big displacement motorcycles
- Technical background in motorcycle mechanics or automotive technology preferred
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to work in on-ground event environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong coordination and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality
- Willingness to travel and support offsite events
- Willing to be assigned in LIMA Malvar Batangas
