KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs operations and maintenance of Windows/Linux servers (troubleshooting, patching, resource monitoring, backup/restore, etc.)
- Responds to escalations from IT ServiceDesk and investigates/resolves server-related technical issues as Level 2 support.
- Manages Active Directory ensuring the reliability of user authentication and access management (user/group management, OU design, GPO configuration, account lockout handling, etc.)
- Operates backup and restore processes to ensure data preservation and business continuity.
- Promotes the design, construction, and renewal of server environments (e.g., building/migrating virtualization (Nutanix/VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud (AWS/Azure) environments)
- Implements security measures such as access control, log management, and vulnerability response to reduce security risks
- Updates configuration maintenance / management ledgers and operational documentation to achieve IT asset visibility.
- Implements necessary security measures and conducts reliable security operations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of BS Computer Science, Information Technology, any computer-related course;
- 5 – 10 years or more experience in IT Infrastructure;
- Experience in Windows/Linux server operations is required; knowledge equivalent to AWS/Azure or LPIC certifications is desirable
- Strong knowledge technical expertise to build, operate, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers and cloud environments.
- Standardized skills related to server operations, including patch management, log analysis, and backup design.
- Background in Security incident response management, practical experience in vulnerability management, risk assessment and security tools.
